To participate in the promotion, you must be wearing a gold clothing or accessory item that participating retail partners can easily identify. Our retailer partners will use their discretion when evaluating whether an individual has met this criteria to participate in the promotion before handing out a ‘Free Ticket’.

A clothing item or large accessory that is easily identifiable as ‘gold’ – ie. a hat, purse, t-shirt, dress, jacket, etc. Personal, everyday jewelry does not qualify as participating in the promotional activity. See Terms and Conditions here.

A retailer who sells lottery products only residing within a B.C. mall location. See participating locations here.

Retailers will start giving away Free $3 LOTTO 6/49 Tickets at 12 pm PT on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 to those who show up in golden attire at their location. The promotion is one-day only and will run for as long as the retailer's allocated quantities of ‘Free Tickets’ are available. Quantities are limited per location.

No purchase is required to participate in the promotion. However, you must go in-person to a participating retailer to receive the Free $3 LOTTO 6/49 Ticket. As limited quantities are available per retailer, and tickets are only available while supplies last, we recommend going as close to 12pm PT as possible on Wednesday, September 27th to participate.

We targeted mall retailers to ensure the majority of British Columbians could participate in this promotion. While we often run online promotions that include a reach province-wide, this promotion requires in-person participation.
