“I was pretty excited,” he said while claiming his prize. “I mean, this type of thing only happens once in a lifetime for most people.”

Dwayne said his recent win has already created some changes in his day-to-day life. “I’ve been having some trouble sleeping lately,” he laughed. “I think winning just blew my mind – I can’t stop myself from thinking about it.”

The winner said he hasn’t made any plans for his windfall yet.

“I think I’ll just put it in the bank for right now,” he explained. “And I’ll think about what I want to do with it at some point down the road.”

Dwayne purchased his $100,000-winning ticket from the Superstore Kiosk at 920 Victoria Avenue in Brandon. He won his prize by matching the last six digits of the EXTRA number on the August 9 draw – 4653603.
