PROLINE will be launching later this year at retailers in convenience stores, major grocery stores, drug stores, gas stations, and BCLC branded kiosks throughout the province.

When PROLINE is ready, you’ll be able to download the all-new BCLC PROLINE SPORTSBOOK app to create your bet and then visit your local retailer to pay and receive a printed ticket (if you can’t use the app, you’ll be able to create your bet using the PROLINE webpage).

How to play PROLINE in BC

When PROLINE is ready, here’s how you can play:

At retail locations

Download the BCLC PROLINE SPORTSBOOK app from the Apple or Android stores right from your phone.
Find the leagues or game you’re looking for. Choose from Money Lines, Point Spreads, Totals and more and then select your picks.
Review your picks and enter your wager amount. When you’re ready, hit the Create QR Code button to generate a QR Code with your selections.

To complete your purchase and lock in your selections, bring your QR code to your favourite retail store and scan it at the counter.

Place your bet by paying your retailer to get your printed ticket confirmation (payment cannot be made in the app).

At restaurants and bars

When PROLINE is ready on our self-serve terminals, there will be 2 ways to play:

Build your bet on your smartphone using the BCLC PROLINE SPORTSBOOK app, and then scan the app-generated QR code at a self-serve terminal to pay and receive a printed ticket, or
Use a self-serve terminal to build, pay for, and receive your printed ticket.

How to play while you wait

Market Types

Markets refer to a specific event or scenario you can bet on. In other words, it’s what you’re betting on within a specific game. Different sports have different markets due to their unique aspects. PROLINE will offer:

Oddset 3-outcome
Money Line
Point Spread (also referred to as Puck Line in hockey or Run Line in baseball),
Total Goals/Points (also referred to as over/under)

If you can’t or don’t want to use the BCLC PROLINE SPORTSBOOK app, you will be able to:

Visit the BCLC PROLINE sportsbook in a web browser.
Find the leagues or game you’re looking for and then select your picks.
Review and enter your wager amount, then hit the Create QR Code button to generate your QR Code.
Print or capture a copy of your QR code:
1. On your computer: Use control + P to print your screen or take a photo of your QR code
2. If you’re visiting the sportsbook on your smartphone: Bookmark the web page in your smartphone so you can access your QR code when you’re at a retail store.

Bring the photo of your QR code, or your smartphone with the bookmarked sportsbook page to your favourite retail store and scan it at the counter.

Place your bet by paying your retailer to get your printed ticket confirmation (payment cannot be made online).

Once PROLINE is available on our self-serve terminals, you will be able to build a bet on your smartphone and then use a self-serve terminal to pay, or you will be able to build and pay for your bet at a self-serve terminal.
