Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Lottery Subscription?

Lottery Subscriptions give you the opportunity to purchase future draws and pay as you go. Choose the number of draws you wish to play or choose 'Never Miss a Draw' to continue your Subscription until you choose to stop.

When you create a Lottery Subscription for a Quick Pick Package, you are unable to Choose Numbers or change the amount of Extras.

How many draws can I sign up for?

'Never Miss a Draw' will create a Lottery Subscription that will continue until you decide to stop your Lottery Subscription. This means we will automatically purchase Lottery tickets for you before each draw as long as you have sufficient funds in your account.

You can also create your Lottery Subscription for the next 2, 10, 52 or 104 draws.

How do I choose my numbers?

Once you've selected your desired number of plays of Lotto Max, Lotto 6/49, BC/49 and/or DAILY GRAND from the drop-down menu, pick Choose Numbers. Next, use the number pad to set your favourite numbers for all upcoming draws in your Lottery Subscription.

What if I want to add the Extra?

Before you purchase your ticket, you can add the Extra for $1 each, and can add a maximum of 10. Your Extra numbers will be randomly generated and different for each draw.

What if I want a Quick Pick package?

We'll use the numbers that are generated from your first ticket for all upcoming draws in your Lottery Subscription. Quick Pick Packages available for Lottery Subscriptions:

How do payments work?

As long as you have enough money and/or tokens in your account, your Subscription will continue to purchase tickets for you. If there isn't enough money in your account before the next draw, your Subscription will be put on hold and you will receive an email with directions to top up your funds.

While your Subscription is on hold, no ticket will be purchased. The only way to  resume/continue your Lottery Subscription in time for the next draw is to deposit more money into your account no later than the evening before the specific lottery draw.


If your Subscription is on hold for at least 1 lottery draw, your Subscription will be stopped and in order to resume/continue you will be required to deposit funds into your account and then hit replay.

 

The lottery games in your Lottery Subscription will be purchased on a draw-by-draw basis around 8:00am PT on:

  • Wednesday & Saturday: Lotto Max
  • Thursday & Sunday: Lotto 6/49 & BC/49
  • Tuesday & Friday: DAILY GRAND

How do I stop my Lottery Subscription?

It's easy. Just login to PlayNow and go to the My Subscriptions page. Then, find your Lottery Subscription and choose Stop.

Can I replay a subscription?

Replaying your Lottery Subscription is simple. Just login to PlayNow and go to My Subscriptions page and select Replay on the Lottery Subscription that you want to replay. Then all you have to do is complete your purchase.

If you're replaying a LOTTO MAX Subscription, your first set of numbers will be replayed but the second and third set of numbers will be auto-generated after you've completed the purchase.

DISCLAIMER: If you select REPLAY while your subscription in ‘on hold’ or ‘active’ this will duplicate your lottery subscription.
