Derek S of Lake Manitoba First Nation has thousands of reasons to celebrate. He won $58,070.10 on Lotto 6/49!

Derek bought his ticket for the April 6, 2022 on PlayNow.com.

The day following the draw, Derek had gone home for lunch. He checked his email and saw the winning ticket on the screen. 

“I could not  believe what I was seeing!” he laughed .

The winner then waited until his wife came home for lunch and shocked her with the news.

Derek’s ticket matched 5 of 6 numbers plus the bonus number, and was one of four in the same prize category. Derek and the other three winners each won $58,070.10. The other winners are from BC, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada.

 “This is such an exciting feeling!” said the happy winner as he picked up his prize cheque.

 Derek is still making plans for the winnings, and plans to pay off their vehicle loan first thing.
