Micro Bad Beat Jackpot
Micro Bad Beat Jackpot Cash Games
What is the Micro Bad Beat Jackpot?
Selected cash game tables marked with this symbol offer the chance to win a huge jackpot prize by losing with a big hand. To win the Micro Bad Beat Jackpot, a player must lose a hand with a hand rank of Four-of-a-kind, Twos or better, where:
- At least 4 players are dealt into the hand and remain seated at the table until the Jackpot is triggered.
- The hand goes to a showdown.
- Both the winning and losing hand use both of their hole-cards to make their five-card hand.
- The hand is raked, and contributes towards the jackpot pool.
- Players sitting out do not qualify for the jackpot
- The best hand for both the winner and the loser must include their two hole cards.
- In the case of Four of a Kind, the hole cards must be a pocket pair.
- The hand must be raked and the jackpot contribution must be collected in order for the hand to qualify for a Micro Bad Beat Jackpot.
- The two highest hands will be considered for the jackpot if there are two or more hands that qualify for the jackpot, with the highest hand being the winning hand (the winner) and the second highest hand winning the jackpot (the loser of the hand).
- In the event there are two claims on the jackpot, from different tables, at approximately the same time; the hand that finishes first will be awarded the jackpot. The end timestamp of the hand will decide which hand finished first. The jackpot will then be re-seeded and that jackpot awarded to the second table.
- Revealing cards to any other player or any discussion of the hands in play will disqualify the hand from any Jackpot payments
The jackpot amounts increase progressively as contributions are made from hands played at Micro Bad Beat Jackpot cash tables. A contribution of $0.02 towards the jackpot will be taken from each pot where:
- At least 4 players are dealt into the hand and remain seated at the table until the Jackpot is triggered.
- The hand is raked.
Jackpot prizes are shared between all players who were dealt into the hand, with the majority being awarded to the player with the qualifying losing hand. 70% of the jackpot amount is awarded in prizes, with 20% retained to seed the next jackpot, and 10% retained as an administration fee.
